Our teachings stem from classical yoga and we are certified practitioners influenced as much by the Buddhist philosophy as by any kind-loving philosophy. Our practice is based on helping the soma and mind un-learn and move closer to our natural self. Our priority is the alignment of the body's systems through safely guided and accessible Yoga sessions with Asana adjustments. Even though we keep and teach the philosophy of the Teachings, we also believe that it is of great importance to remember the inherent simplicity of the practice of Yoga (Still-flowing yoga). Whether looking to boost energy or bring about calm, Yoga offers a truly natural way of enquiring into the movement and control of the body and mind, in a way that can help transform and balance the body's system and conditions. Yoga is a Sanskrit word meaning "union". Yoga speaks and moves of a union. A union between the body, soul and mind. A union of the body and its breath. Yoga Shala brings the experience of classic yoga styles to Nicosia, Cyprus, in a calm, coherent and colourful space. Agni

Convinced during trainings in Thailand, that Love and Yoga can awaken and strengthen our ability to align and ground to the truths of life and the real world and time around us, Agni teaches yoga classes and practices with people who want to spend an hour out of their daily nonstop run - just for themselves - synchronised to their own body and breath.

Natasa

Natasa is a fully qualified yoga teacher, trained in Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Yin Yoga, Asana techniques & Anatomy, Physiology and Mindfulness Meditation, by "Still-flowing Yoga school". Her passion to share her love for Yoga with other people led her to her first teacher training course. Since then she has been teaching group and private Yoga classes, at different studios and gyms.

Natasa considers yoga a moving meditation which helps us recognise how our feelings affect our body. Practicing Yoga mindfully, trains us to listen to our body and emotions; accept situations as they are, and direct our feelings towards the right direction. During this journey of self-discovery, she strives to add a little bit of fun in her practice and Yoga classes, like we should all do in our lives, to remind us that we should not take everything so seriously. Meanwhile, she keeps a steady connection with breath, hoping to impart some Yogi wisdom along the way. Her classes are vinyasa based (breath synchronisation with movement) with strong emphasis on alignment.

Natasa continuously attends trainings to enhance her Yoga Knowledge; among others, she trained with the amazing Aki Amori, Gemma Malol, Marcela Enriquez and recently attend a Kids Yoga teacher training with Greville Henwood.

Eleni

Eleni is a yoga instructor having received her certification in June 2012 in Prana Yoga TT (Yoga Alliance approved) in New York, USA. Her teachers, Dr. Jeff Migdow, M.D., RYT, and Priti Robyn Ross, RYT, who hail from the Kripalu tradition, helped guide and inspire Eleni's relationship with yoga and the rich tradition and knowledge that comes with it.

Eleni has been a practitioner of Yoga for more than twenty years. She has attended a multitude of seminars and workshops on yoga, Buddhism, meditation, chanting, the chakras and healthy living, amongst others at the Open Center, New York, the Omega Institute, New York the Sivananda Center, New York, and the Ananda Ashram, New York. She has visited many ashrams in the US and abroad, and feels that yoga is a powerful means to transform one's body, mind and spirit.

She lives to learn, and loves to travel, seeking wisdom and inspiration in the world's traditions and cultures.

She joined the Yoga Shala in February 2014, immediately after her return from New York, and has been with the center ever since. In it, she has found 'a home and a refuge'. She teaches at the Yoga Shala, and is excited to share her knowledge as well as learn from her amazing students who carry into the center their unique perspective and wealth of knowledge.

Malvina

Malvina has practiced Yoga for over 15 years. She has attended many local and international yoga workshops, retreats and seminars.

Malvina is certified as a yoga teacher by Yoga Works Teacher Training in Greece, which combines Ashtanga (heat, flow and breathing), Iyengar (body alignments) and Vini Yoga (individualised modifications).

Maria (Mayka) Sabova

Practice of yoga asanas, pranayama, mudra, bandha and guided meditation.

Mayka's passion for yoga unfolded after her very first class with Yogacharya Shri Unniraman, Director & Founder of Patanjali Yoga Research Centre from Indian Kozhikode, Kerala. In turn, daily practice of Hatha Yoga brought fundamental positive changes in her lifestyle and outlook on life. This built a strong trust towards the Yoga system and brought her to study it deeper, resulting in 200 Hours TT.

Mayka's practice with Yogacharya has built a strong foundation for understanding the complexity of the Hatha Yoga system and principles of its traditions which she follows.

During the classes, Mayka guides students towards building a loving kindness for their bodies by mindful asana practice and breathing work. At the end of the sessions, she enjoys guiding students into relaxing meditation with positive affirmations, also letting herself go and properly foregoing time :-)

Classes are greatly affected by her gratitude for being able to share the wisdom of Yoga and the enthusiasm towards the Yoga tradition, ensuring that everyone leaves the class with a big smile on their face.
