We invite you all to join us for another season of yoga practice at Yoga Shala

Namaste yogi and yogini,

We are excited to welcome you back at the shala for another year of Yoga, self-discoveries and adventures. The studio has had some resting time over August to clear up old energies and reorganize! Now, freshly painted with new mats and a renewed vibe, the shala and our teachers invite you to our yoga refuge from the 7th of September onwards.

This season we come back with a new schedule, new faces and returning teachers. September is always a good month to plant the seeds of what we want to receive, the fruits of our physical and mental practice. So happy and mindful planting season to everyone! September is always a busy month so we invite you to kindly be on time and make sure you arrive at the studio at least 5 minutes before class starts. Yoga Shala is a Silent zone so once you arrive, be sure to put your phone on silent. Whisper if you wish to speak and begin your practice as soon as you walk through the door. Walk slowly to your mat, sit in an upright comfortable pose, close your eyes and begin to notice your breath.

We welcome Malvina back to teaching every Monday an all levels Vinyasa flow yoga class. If you have never taken her classes at the shala, we invite you to experience her kindness and sweetness and unique teaching style. Natasa will continue teaching her all levels Vinyasa flow class on Wednesday and will also be teaching Yin Yoga on Fridays until December, a blissful way to finish off and reflect on your week. Eleni and Mayka are still teaching Hatha Yoga, Eleni onTuesdays, whose sometimes dynamic and at other times more mellow class is open to everyone and Mayka will look after all of you beautiful Beginners walking through our shala doors on Thursdays. Her unique style will surely welcome you into your own yoga journey.  Agni will still be hanging around, supporting you through your practice and experiences at the shala as always, sometimes teaching, sometimes adjusting, but taking it easy these days until the little Buddha moves from her belly to the outside world and then back to teaching sometime in December! If you are interested in registering for the Prenatal Yoga sessions please do so by September 15th. If you have any friends who may be interested to register, feel free to share this letter with them. Following registration all participants will be notified for the start date of these sessions.

On the Workshops front, we remind you of the early bird special price of Eur95 for the full 3 days of our IYENGAR YOGA workshop with Stefano Bendandi. Stefano’s second workshop at the shala will take place on the 2,3,4 of Octoberand participation will be limited to 16-17 practitioners so we ensure that you will have that personal attention from Stefano that is required during workshops as this one, with focus on alignment. Make sure you avoid disappointment and book your space early if you intent to join us. Don’t worry if you missed the first workshop! This one will be equally useful and accessible to all levels and anatomies and we will be adding the chair as a prop to support our learning process, a very popular prop in the Iyengar method.
